Feelings.

Feelings are the most confusing things on this earth. Just so everyone knows.
Here are a few songs to help describe such things:

ps. These are not some of the artists that I love the most, infact, some of them I don't like, I just like the lyrics in their music.

College.

Basically. I love college. It rocks. It is so much better than I ever imagined. And I thought it was gonna be bomb!! :) I've got a bunch to post, but I don't want to right now. Just thought I'd let the world know that I am still alive.
I've learned to love free food, learned that it doesn't matter how I look as long as I make it to class on time, learned to truly have fun, learned to get along with people that I wouldn't normally associate with, learned to not judge others, learned to be happy, learned that I am a lot boy crazier than I thought, learned that I love to learn, learned that I love new things, learned that I love sleeping, learned that I love being crazy with my roommates, and learned that sometimes you just have to be happy. Sorry for the long run-on sentence. All this I have learned in a short 5 days of being at college, 2 of going to classes. I love this experience. All of the new things I am experiencing, and all of the opportunities I am being given are absolutely incredible. I am blessed to live so close to an absolutely outstanding university. One ranked in the top 5% in the nation. Everyone is so kind here. Everyone smiles and says hi to you. Guys check you out every time you turn around, you check out guys every time you turn around. Haha. College may be hard, but it will be so much fun. I can't wait for all the experiences to come.

"You're gonna miss this," cuz "It won't be like this for long."

I've heard this song on the radio a few times in the past couple weeks. It has got me thinking.

So many changes are ahead. Some that I've waited my whole life for. I've spent days thinking about the future and what I'll be able to do, and what I'll have. I don't think I've spent enough time enjoying the present. I miss the times when life was easier. When half the decisions I made that day couldn't alter my entire future. Each phase in life moves by so quickly. Sometimes it seems there is never enough time to enjoy it all.

About this time last year, I was sitting in Isaac's room while he was packing for college. This song by Darius Rucker came on and I remember bawling. "It won't be like this for long." But. One thing I've learned the past year. All of the hard to bear things, don't last for long. But they seem to drag on. And all of the amazing things seem to go by much too quickly. Sometimes we are so overwhelmed with bad things that we don't notice all of the great things. I think back to some of the things that have upset me, and wonder what I missed that was a good thing at that time. Later on, I always seem to remember things that I had never noticed at the time. I need to slow down and take a minute to "smell the roses". This life, we've each been given, is so beautiful.

I hate it when good things come to an end...

Today was my very last day volunteering at the Pharmacy in the Hospital. At least for now. I hate that I can't go anymore. It's been one of the few bright spots in my life this summer. I've learned so much more than I ever thought I would. Its made me realize that I really do want to become a Pharmacist. I love the atmosphere. I love the people. I love feeling like I can make a difference, even on a small scale. I love learning. I love learning about Pharmaceutical drugs. It sometimes boggles my mind, but I love it. Everything they do, intrigues me. I just want to keep learning more and more.

Which reminds me, COLLEGE, in a week and a half. Excited, I think yes! :) For all of those that think I'll hate ISU, keep on thinking that. I'm going to go with my mind wide open. I think it'll be a great experience for me, and I'll learn a lot about myself in the process. I'm going to continue to live my life the best that I can, meanwhile going to Institute, Church, classes, and meeting many new people. I'm excited for all of the many opportunities that my future holds, and I plan on living up to all my expectations.

It's going to be a crazy next few weeks, so hearing from me a lot, you will not, blogger world.

ps. When I get time, I'll be posting pictures of the fabulous camping trip I had. Also, I'll be telling the 'magical' story of that cute missionary and I.
