to the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. And I have no idea what I would do without that blessing. I love going to church and having so many blessings come from it.
Today was an especially amazing day to be at church. The spirit was incredibly strong, and all of the lessons were things I needed to hear lately.
Sacrament meeting, which I was a little late to, was absolutely incredible. The two speakers were girls that I both look up to a lot. They are both absolutely amazing. Tara spoke about how each and every one of us has a glorious purpose. Sometimes I forget why I am here and that I do have a purpose. She also talked about how when she graduated from high school, she had a plan for her life and exactly how everything was going to happen and work out. I too have a plan, and am slowly realizing that it most likely isn't going to work out exactly the way I want it to. But I need to be open to the plan that my Heavenly Father has for me. His plan will bring me much greater joy and happiness than my own plan will, because He knows me so much better than I know myself. And for that I am extremely grateful for. Someone posted this amazing song on fb the other day, and I thought I'd share it here. Because it goes along so well with this.
In Relief Society, our lesson was on Elder Oaks' talk on desire. A quote that was written on the board that I absolutely love is, "Desires dictate our priorities, priorities shape our choices, and choices determine our actions." -Elder Oaks. I am in serious need of getting my priorities straight and remembering what I truly desire in this life. It was an absolutely incredible lesson, and all of the comments by those amazing sisters around me really helped me.
I love this gospel. Whenever I am having a hard time, or struggling with something, my Heavenly Father is always there for me. Through amazing friends, my bishop, and my parents.

Isaac DeMar and I
Months and months ago, I promised this little blogger world that I would soon post of the 'magical' story of that cute boy and I. However, it's much too long to do all at once. So I'll do it in segments :)
Isaac and I met on August 7th , 2008. We were both at Stake Youth Conference up at West Piney, in Idaho. We met through a mutual friend, Karrah Landon. The first time I saw him, I didn't think anything of it. Except that he seemed nice, and he was attractive. I saw him a few times over the next couple days, and each time I just kept thinking how cool of a kid he was and how I wanted to get to know him better. There was just something about him that I really liked. I was hoping to get his number, but was too shy to ask for it. That Saturday after I got home, I immediately sent a text to Karrah and asked her for his number. I waited a little while, and then sent him a text. We had a small conversation, but nothing special. Over the next year, we would text a few times every once in awhile, and I really kinda liked him. I was sure nothing would ever happen, though, because I was POSITIVE that he did not feel the same about me. Especially since every time we talked, I initiated it. Sometime in July of 2009, he initiated a conversation for the first time and we talked a lot more often. I had mentioned that I was thinking about running XC (Cross Country, for those of you that don't know), and since he was an avid runner told me that I HAD to. I still wasn't sure, but I had a lot of friends doing it, and of course Isaac was running ;) I decided that I was going to, and boy was that one of the best decisions of my life.
That's all for now. More soon to come though.
