Decisions

Recently there have been a few things that have changed. Decisions are hard. As is life. Something that I've thought I wanted since I was about 15 years old, suddenly I just don't want anymore. The con's far out weigh the pro's. I'm trying to make up my mind and figure out something else for my life. It's almost like a huge weight has been lifted off of my shoulders. And pretty much like there is no stress anymore. Well, not any overwhelming stress that I can't handle that is. We'll see what the future brings with all of the decisions that are coming my way.
Easily enough though, I know that I will be able to handle this and make the right decisions for my future. Changing my major never sounded so good. I'm not positive what I'm going to be changing it to yet, but I have a few options that I am looking into. Pharmacy just doesn't really fit into what I want anymore. It will take a long time to get through, will be extremely expensive, and if I decide not to work when I am out of school, there will be no point in racking up that much debt. So I'm going to get a degree in something that will help me in raising my future children, and help out my future family. I am not positive yet, but I am meeting with an adviser tomorrow to figure it out.
We'll see what the future brings! Through lots of prayer and research, I'll be able to figure it all out. Change is sometimes scary, but it is going to worth it. Wish me luck.

Life is complicated. Life is great.

This semester is going to kick my butt. However, I am going to kick it right back. I'm going to take it on and come out on top. I have decided to focus less on what I want, and more on what I need. It is to the point that I not only want to become a pharmacist, I NEED to. I can't think about anything else. That is what I want more than anything. Sometimes I find myself daydreaming about the day that I'll finally have my PharmD degree. A doctorate, at the age of 25. I will be accomplished. I want to be that now. But, I can take my time.
Life has so many curveballs. Some fun, some terrifying. I am enjoying my time right now. Keeping busy like crazy, and having fun when I can. I have some of the most amazing people in my life. Sometimes it makes me wonder what I did to surround myself with some of the most remarkable people. My family and friends are both incredible. I don't have the slightest idea what I would do without them.
Isaac, well, he is currently Elder Wood and I continue to be so proud of him. He helps me get through each and every day, even though I never see him and hardly hear from him. That is love. Something I would not change for anything, and something I will not give up for a guy that I simply like. I love Elder Wood. Now and forever.
Right now, I am living life. Enjoying it, and taking on everything that gets thrown my way.

I hate it when good things come to an end...

Today was my very last day volunteering at the Pharmacy in the Hospital. At least for now. I hate that I can't go anymore. It's been one of the few bright spots in my life this summer. I've learned so much more than I ever thought I would. Its made me realize that I really do want to become a Pharmacist. I love the atmosphere. I love the people. I love feeling like I can make a difference, even on a small scale. I love learning. I love learning about Pharmaceutical drugs. It sometimes boggles my mind, but I love it. Everything they do, intrigues me. I just want to keep learning more and more.

Which reminds me, COLLEGE, in a week and a half. Excited, I think yes! :) For all of those that think I'll hate ISU, keep on thinking that. I'm going to go with my mind wide open. I think it'll be a great experience for me, and I'll learn a lot about myself in the process. I'm going to continue to live my life the best that I can, meanwhile going to Institute, Church, classes, and meeting many new people. I'm excited for all of the many opportunities that my future holds, and I plan on living up to all my expectations.

It's going to be a crazy next few weeks, so hearing from me a lot, you will not, blogger world.

ps. When I get time, I'll be posting pictures of the fabulous camping trip I had. Also, I'll be telling the 'magical' story of that cute missionary and I.

Wednesday and Thursday activities

Wednesday, this past week, I was able to start volunteering at the hospital. It was great. I learned so much, and am so excited to continue to learn more. I am volunteering/shadowing in the pharmacy. The reason for this, is because I want to become a pharmacist. I wanted to get some experience this summer in a pharmacy, so that I can make sure thats really what I want to do. It was a super cool experience, and I met a lot of awesome people. I'm really excited to see what else is ahead of me in this experience.
Wednesday night I went to institute. The topic this summer is The gospel and the productive life. I am really excited for this as well. I will be learning a lot, and a lot of it will help me to be more successful in life and college :) I love learning things. Especially about this gospel.
Thursday morning, my best friend and I went to to temple again. We went early, 6:30 AM! :) It was so great. And, since we've been going every Thursday for a little while, the temple workers on Thursday mornings now know us as "the regulars". It sure feels great to have the temple workers know you. And to say, "See you next week!" They are the sweetest people, ever.
